Marc D. Johnson - Mr. Johnson is Vice President of Project Development and Coordination at Aviation Concepts Inc. In this position Mr. Johnson’s responsibilities include primarily the day-to-day monitoring of completion projects as Project Manager. Mr. Johnson has seven years of experience in the aviation industry, encompassing all facets of project management and coordination, operations, maintenance tracking and completion production activities. Aviation Concepts Inc. is a consulting company which evaluates, acquires, accomplishes maintenance updates and interior design, refurbishes, completions, registrations, airworthiness validations and administrative and operational support activities for corporate jet aircraft ranging in size from Citation through Boeing Aircraft.


Prior to joining Aviation Concepts Inc. in 2006 Mr. Johnson was employed by Mckinney Aerospace as the sole Project Manager overseeing the completions and refurbishment activities. Mr. Johnson’s duties at Mckinney Aerospace included the primary responsibility for aircraft completion and refurbishment monitoring including direct responsibility for contract compliance, design adherence, engineering documentation and production flow. Mr. Johnson developed McKinney’s project schedules and was the main point of contact between the customer and the completion center. Mr. Johnson’s completion and refurbishment experience include Boeing 737-700, 737-800, Gulfstream, Challenger, Lear, Cessna and Hawker aircraft.

Prior to his employment with Mckinney Aerospace, Mr. Johnson was Project Manger for Magellan GPS/Thales Group. Mr. Johnson oversaw the creation and management of a board level avionics repair and maintenance facility which served and supported operations for the Neverlost GPS system.

Mr. Johnson served six years in the United States Marine Corps as Non Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Avionics shop of the infamous “Blacksheep Squadron” VMA-214. He was responsible for the first GPS installations aboard AV8-B Harrier aircraft and was personally recognized for his squadrons “readiness” rating by the Commandant of the Marine Corps during Operation Continue Hope in Somalia. After his military service, Mr. Johnson attended The University of Texas at Dallas where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration.
